Clara Belle "Mamaw" Sudduth, age 95, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014, at Bradford Square Genesis HealthCare.

Services for Mrs. Sudduth will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will be in Harvieland Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m.

A native of Franklin County, she was born September 20, 1918, to Carl Clifton and Lola McCoy Parris. Mrs. Sudduth was a homemaker and enjoyed participating in the Bailey's Mill Homemakers. She was a devoted member of Harvieland United Methodist Church for more than 70 years where she was a Trustee, Sunday School Treasurer and served on many of the church committees.

Mrs. Sudduth was the widow of Lewis S. Adams and Newell "Buck" Sudduth. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Haskel J. Parris; sister, Emma Shaw Hoover; and great grandsons, Tyler and Johnathan Adams.

Survivors include her children, Alvin (Brenda) Adams, Kelly (Lynn) Adams, Karen Stoops and Mike (Barbara) Sudduth; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Dale Adams, Daryl Stoops, Lewis Adams, Skip Agee, Dale Wethington, Scott Hoover, Mark Hoover and Aaron Fay. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Parker; the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
