Stanley married Marianna Garstecka during 1875 at Janowiec Parish, Gniezno Archdiocese, Poznan Province, Poland (then Prussia). He arrived at New York City on 24 April 1882 and his wife and three children born in Poland followed in September 1883. By the June 1895 MN census Stanley, Mary and seven children, four born in MN, were listed farming in Culdrum Township near Flensburg, Morrison County, MN.
Following is Stanley's obituary from the Little Falls Daily Transcript, Monday, 2 July 1928: Stanley Super,75, passed away at the home of his son Martin Super of Flensburg, Saturday afternoon at 4:30. Death was caused by cancer. He had been a resident of Morrison County for the past 43 years. Surviving are four sons and two daughters, Walter, Superior, Wis.; Joseph, Munger; George and Martin, Flensburg; Lucy, Reading, Pa.; Rose Anne of St. Paul.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Sacred Heart Church in Flensburg.
