Phillipsburg, Kansas resident, Delbert Beisner, age 73, died August 5, 2010 in Via Christy St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was born April 11, 1937 in Natoma, KS the son of Floyd C. & Eva E. (Kirkendall) Beisner. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran and worked as an Auto Mechanic.

He was united in marriage on June 1, 1989 in Reno, Nevada to Emma Jean Weigel. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers & 4 sisters.

Other survivors include his son Carl Ray Beisner-Peavy of Bewton, AL; daughter, Eva Beisner of San Jose, CA; step-sons, Thomas Craven & Daniel Rule, both of Marysville, CA & Joseph Rule of Lynnwood, WA; step-Daughters, Norlynn Gomes of Ripon, CA, Tamara Rule of Modesto, CA & Susan Rule of Lathrop, CA; 5 sisters, Donna Wodecki of Holyoke, Mass, Linda Getty of Palestine, TX, Joyce Rupp of Phillipsburg, KS, Phyllis Kennedy of Palestine, TX & Anita Bubier of Disputanta, Virginia; nephew, Joe Baker of Russell, KS & many grandchildren.

Cremation was planned. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial with military honors by the US Navy will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Friends may sign the book Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday evening for visitation.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
