Essie Mae Rogers was the daughter of Frank Paul "Buddy" Pierce and Nancy Catherine Parker. She married first E. B. Anderson. They had one child, Jerry Eugene Anderson. She later married Don Brady Rogers. They were the parents of two sons, Donald Bruce Rogers and David Keith Rogers.
