Statesboro - Rudolph B. Hodges, 70, died Monday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a short illness. The Bulloch County native was self-employed, a member of the Bulloch Wildlife Club, the Statesboro Wanderers Camping Club and was a life member of W.B.C.C.I. Airstream Club. He was a member of Statesboro First Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Hodges, Statesboro; three daughters, Ann Thomason, Cape Coral, Fla., Aris Bush, Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Nancy Callaway, Statesboro; two sisters, Mildred Womack, Statesboro, and Betty Bowen, Register; one brother, Roland Hodges, Statesboro; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with Dr. H. William Perry officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
