An illness of nine years preceded the death early today of Ellis S. Eberling, 57, of Atwater Ave., N.E., Alliance R.D. 2. He died at 4:30 a.m.

A farmer, he was the widower of Dorothy Leasure Eberling who preceded him in death in 1954. Born in Bellaire, he lived in the Alliance area most of his life.

Surviving are three sons, Ellis Jr. of Alliance, John of Limaville, and Robert of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Weekly of Limaville, Mrs. Shirley Brunner of Alliance, and Miss Dorothy Eberling of Alliance; his father, Edward of Sebring; two brothers, Everett of Sebring, and Charles of Marlboro; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Fitzwater of California, Mrs. Anna Meikle of Bridgewater, Pa. and Mrs. Velva Yeagley of Alliance, and 13 Grandchildren.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Donald Snyder of the Limaville Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home.
Friends may call tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.

Burial will be in the Alliance City Cemetery.
