Mrs. Alice B. Hale, widow of Karl Hale, 7706 Landover Road, Landover, Md., died last week. Mrs. Hale was a sister of Mrs. Frank A. Deffenbaugh, 727 Montgomery Avenue, this city.

Mrs. Hale was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Goss*. Mr. Goss was a Cumberland policeman.

Also surviving are a son, Karl G. Hale, Roanoke, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret C. Woolson, Landover; another sister, Mrs. Margaret Leasure, Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Services were conducted at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lanham, Md. Interment was in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
