She moved with her family to Seminole, OK. She met and married Colby Arnold Pearson (Cap) in 1932 and they lived in Tulsa before moving to Broken Arrow in 1956. Ruth retired from American Airlines and with her husband, was very active in the White Shrine, Amaranth, Eastern Star, Rebecca Lodge and the Broken Arrow Garden Club.
Preceded in death by her husband; three sisters and brother.
Ruth is survived by nephews, Dan and David Washburn; and nieces; Lyn Rae Ziegler, Mary Vencl and Kay Tucker.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2007, in the Floral Haven Mausoleum, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patricks Episcopal Church, 4250 W. Houston, Broken Arrow, OK, 74012.
