Mary Regina Dubuque, age 87, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born March 31, 1923, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Anna M. (Rieser) Gardner.
On September 17, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Raymond A. Dubuque, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and a grandson.
Surviving are seven sons, Raymond J. Dubuque (Sharon) of Lonedell, Missouri, Rick Dubuque (Pam) of Pacific, Missouri, Bill Dubuque (Pat) of Pacific, Missouri, Tom Dubuque (Regina) of St. Louis, Missouri, Paul Dubuque of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Bob Dubuque of Shell Knob, Missouri and John Dubuque of Harrison, Arkansas; two daughters, Peggy Sisco of Harrison, Arkansas and Linda Wetzel (Mike) of St. Peters, Missouri; one brother, John Gardner (Peggy) Of Kansas City, Missouri; twenty-two grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Mary grew up and received her education in St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated from high school and attended college. She was a homemaker and volunteered as a nurse's aid in the St. Louis School system. In 1985, she moved from St. Louis to Shell Knob to make her home. Some of her favorite pastimes were sewing, reading and making latch hook rugs. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Shell Knob.
Funderal services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in Shell Knob First Baptist Church, under direction of Fohn Funderal Home, Shell Knob. Paster Bob Gaddis will conduct the services. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, Shell Knob.
Contributions may be made to First Baptish Church Building Fund in memory of Mary.
