Cornelia was the daughter of Jacob Price and Mary Polly Wemple. The wedding picture to the right was scanned for me by Stacy Martin, the granddaughter of my uncle (George Freeman Purple).
Cornelia, who married Alonzo Danvers Luce, was the mother of Emma Louise Luce, who married Fred Humphrey Lamkin (and later George H Bush). Emma and Fred had one child, a daughter Emma Lousie Lamkin who married my grandfather, Harry Jasper Purple (Sr).
In addition to Emma, Cornelia and Alonzo had

- a daughter J Blanche Luce (who married Frank Bahn and then Lloyd Nicols Hutchinson)
- a daughter Alice Maud Luce (also laid to rest here).

July 2015 - In April 2015 Don Short (47261662) added memorials and a photo of the grave stones of Emma and her second husband George H Bush. At the time of her death, Emma was living with her daughter Emma Louise (Lamkin) Purple and died in Newton Hospital, Newton Mass.

July 2015 - I have yet to find her burial place however her death certificate indicates she died 16 Nov 1945, was cremated on 19 Nov 1945 by Ferncliff Crematory at 117 West 7th St, Walter B Cooke Funeral Director. She was listed as living at 635 Riverside Dr in Manhattan NY, a widow, age : 74 yrs, 3 mons, 25 days. The certificate also lists her DOB as 21 July 1871, born in Ithaca NY, parents : Alonzo Luce and Cornelia Price.
Jan 2024 - In 2021 a Find A Grave memorial was created for her and her husband Lloyd Hutchinson. They were both cremated and are laid to rest in the Ferncliff Cemetery and Mausoleum in Hartsdale New York.
J Blanche, as she was most commonly known as, was first married to Frank Bahn (about 1892) with whom she had her only child : Clarence Bahn (born 26 July 1853 in Ithaca NY). She married Lloyd Nichols Hutchinson (7 Jun 1905) with whom she had no children.
