Obituary: MRS. PHILIP VALENT
Emma Helen Windon Valent, 96, of 626 Capitol Ave., Clarksburg, died at 5:25p.m. Friday, April 12, at her residence.
She was born in Harrison County, Dec. 21, 1894, a daughter of the late Jack and Nora Fittro Windon.
Her husband, Philip Valent, preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1973.
Surviving are one son, Philip Valent Jr., Freemont, Ohio; three daughters, Mabel Thompson, Freemont, Maxine Ice, Hepzibah, and Lucille Bolle, Bridgeport, and 19 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughteer, Tressie Hurst, three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Valent was a homemaker.
