"This is my 7th great grandfather. The last name is also familiar as Summerville here in America. James and Margaret Ware, his wife and 7 children all board a ship heading to the Americas. Boston to be exact. They left one twin daughter behind in Ireland with her aunt. The captain of the ship made err and landed in West Indies where he had all pupils on passage disembark where he left them 2 months of rations. The ship did not return. James and all 7 children perished there in West Indies. Margaret, then pregnant with son James, was taken in by the Indians until she finally made passage to Boston. In Boston she sent for her only surviving daughter Rhoda, my 6th great grandmother."

Note user comments: Death place: West Indies and Liberia are two different places. No "Indians" in Liberia to save Mrs. Simril. I would suggest that story about his death be omitted.

b: 1710, County Donegal, Ireland
d: 1735, West Nimba, Liberia

If he died in Liberia, it might have been during some military conflict at the time.
