Claude Loran Keele was the son of Lesley Marvin and Mildred Martha Perry Keele; and he was the father of Stephanie Michelle Keele.

Claude Keele, 38, of Huntington, formerly of Kountze, died April 7 in Methodist Hospital in Houston.

Funeral services were earlier today in the Broussard Chapel in Kountze. Interment will follow in the Prairie Point Cemetery in Kerens at 4 p.m. with Bro. David Busby and Bro. Earl Burns officiating.

Mr. Keele was born November 21, 1958, in Corsicana. He was a logger and a Pentecostal. He is survived by his wife, Virgie Keele, of Huntington; son, Kevin Keele of Huntington; father, Marvin Keele of Emhouse; sisters, Marlene Jock of Malakoff, Annette Coleman of Kerens, and Ruth Fowler of Corsicana; brothers, Eugene Keele of Huntington, Lonnie Keele of Emhouse, Timothy Keele, Alva Ray Keele and Harlen Keele, all of Corsicana; and grandmother, Ioma Perry of Kerens.
