Glen R. Grimes Dies Saturday
Glenn R. Grimes, 51, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his home at 1207 Avenue D. His body was found Saturday afternoon. Mr. Grimes apparently had gotten out of bed and collapsed shortly afterward.

He was born May 19, 1909, in Seward. He worked as a brakeman for six years for the Union Pacific out of Las Vegas, Nev., and for 10 years for the M.K.andT., and the Frisco out of Oklahoma City. He came here last May and was employed by the Mayrath Machinery Co. Mr. Grimes was a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Josie A. Grimes of Fort Dodge; his widow, Mrs. Kathleen Grimes of Oklahoma City; two sons Joe Bob serving in the Air Force at Ogden, Utah., and David Lynn of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Mrs Donald D. Lee of Bartelsville, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Rogers, County Treasurer, and three grandchildren.
The Rev. R.W. Treder will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Barber-Dunsford Chapel. Burial will be in Maple Grove.

Services for Glen R. Grimes, 51, of 3301 NW 17, who died Saturday in Dodge City, Kan., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Dodge City. Burial will be there.
At the time of his death he was a machinist and was previously manager of Will Rogers Field's North Area prior to its closure.
Survivors include his wife, Kay; two sons, David Lynn, of the home, and Joe Bob with the Air force; a daughter, Dixie, Arlington, Texas, and his mother and a sister, Dodge City.
