Mr. Decker retired as a machinist from RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville in 1988 after 35 years of service.
He graduated from Rockville High School and served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was born April 12, 1930, at Rockville, to Stanley and Maudie Sowers Decker.
He is survived by five daughters, Karen Ann Decker, formerly of Rockville, Connie (Roger) Foy of Crawfordsville, and Mary Nickels, Becky (Larry) Keller and Tina (Brad) Peebles, all of Dana; two sons, Paul (Toni) Watts of Crawfordsville and Chester Leroy Decker of Dana; a sister, Lorella Jones of Clinton; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, a sister and a son Johnny Lee are deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday in Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 E. High St., Rockville. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home." - Journal Review, Crawfordsville, Indiana
