Ulric was born to Jean Baptiste Prevost and Henriette (Fortin) Prevost in the St-Vincent-de-Paul-de-l’Ile-Jesus parish, where his family traces back three more generations. At 25, he immigrated to the United States. On December 6, 1906, Ulric married Mathilde [Montigny] Rouquier in Los Angeles, California. Ulric was a loving husband and father to Lucie Rouquier, his stepdaughter, and Muriel Ellis, his grandniece, after her parents Harry and Eva (Gilbert) Ellis died. Ulric and Mathilde were hard workers who loved their families.
