Helen Shobe Condit, 90, of Modesto died Thursday at her home.
Mrs. Condit was a native of Monrovia [California]. She lived in Modesto 85 years. She was a registered nurse for 52 years; she worked at McPheeters Hospital for many years. She was co-owner of Condit's Market. She was a 66-year member and a past president of Native Daughters of the Golden West, Morada Parlor. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Electra Chapter.
She is survived by five grandchildren, including her care-giver, Debra Scales of Modesto.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs. Private burial at Acacia Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the chapel.
