A lifelong Springfield resident, Mrs. Hocking worked for the Department of Natural Resources where she was a land acquisition agent since 1959.
Survivors: husband, Jay; a daughter, Lesli Choat of Springfield; a granddaughter; mother, Helen M. Choquet of Springfield; a brother, Ray Choquet of Springfield; an aunt; an uncle; and several cousins.
Funeral Mass: St. Aloysius Church, the Rev. John Titus officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
