Mrs. Hocking was an assembly worker at John Hobbs Factory, retiring in 1982. She was a member of South Side Christian Church.
Survivors: a daughter, Pauline Ruth Cronister of Springfield; two grandsons; a step-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Norma (husband, Paul) Estes and Gerri Wood, both of Springfield; two brothers, Ben (wife, Marjorie) and Don Pearson, both of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: Staab Funeral Home, Robert Green and Jeff Chitwood officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
