MRS. LON ASHBA DIES WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Alonzo "Lon" T. Ashba, 61 years old, died Wednesday at the home of her son, Lloyd, in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Ashba suffered a stroke of apoplexy on September 1 and gradually grew weaker until her death.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the M. E. Church in Albia, Dr. Al. H. Barker officiating and burial will be in Oak View cemetery.
Mrs. Ashba is survived by two son, Lloyd of Fort Dodge, and Charles of Ottumwa, and two grandchildren, Helen Ashba of Fort Dodge and William Ashba of Ottumwa.
She was the wife of the late "Lon" Ashba who died in Albia on May 29 of this year. The husband was a veteran railroader and the family had made their home in this vicinity for many years.
