LITTLE SILVERThomas Gilbert Shultls, 74, of 154 Pinckney rd., died Sunday in Riverview hospital after a long illness. Mr. Shultis was born in Bearsville, N. Y., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shultis, He had lived in Little Silver the past 33 years. He was manager of the Hotel Hamilton, New York city, several years and was an agent with the Metropolitan Life Insurance company for 25 years. His late wife, Mrs. Margaret G. Smith Shultis, died December, 1951. He was a member of the Red Bank Presbyterian church and of Mystic Brotherhood lodge, F&AM. Mr. Shultis also was a life member of Field council No. 12, Red Bank, and was treasurer of this organization 20 years. He was an active member of Corson Commandery, No 15, K.T., of Long Branch; Hiram chapter, No. 1, Red Bank; Kane council, No. 2, Royal and Select Masters, of Newark; all Masonic orders. Mr. Shultis was a 32nd degree Mason and was a past master of three separate Masonic orders. He also was an Army veteran of World War I. He is survived by a sister, Miss Edna Shultis of Bearsville, N. Y.
