Roy was the second child of Samuel Arthur Johnson and Edna Lee "Russell" Johnson. He Married Faye Roxie Cherry March 26,1936 in Russell, Kansas. He came to Oregon in 1976 and settled in Veneta for three years then moved to Crow where he lived until his death He was a machinist for Kerry McGee Chemical Company in California. Roy had two children, Colleen and Sammie. Funeral services were March 25, in Lane Memorial Gardens Chapel. Rev. Terry Thompson of the Applegate Nazarene Church officiated.
