Miss Ada Gwendola Knapp, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Knapp in this city last Monday, January 8, 1912 of inflammatory rheumatism. Miss Knapp was born in this city February 8, 1893. She attended the local public schools and was in the junior class in high school last year. Her illness, which was first apparent last summer that she was unable to resume her school work and during the fall and winter she was almost constantly confined to the house. Miss Ada was possessed of a bright and cheerful disposition and was much loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her parents and five brothers - John, Roy, Harry, Winnifred and Reginald - and three sisters - Misses May, Luella and Maurine. The funeral services were held at the home yesterday afternoon, Rev. Wm J. Gray officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery. River Falls Journal 1-11-1912
