Roy McCutcheon

Funeral services for Roy McCutcheon, 73, Mount Hope, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel at Mount Hope with the Rev. Joseph Richards, Beckley, in charge. Burial will be in the High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. McCutcheon, a retired miner, died Sunday in a Beckley hospital shortly after arrival.

Born April 26, 1893 in Nicholas County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry McCutcheon.

Survivors Include two sons, William, Columbus, Ohio and Charles R., Hallendale, Fla.; a daughter, Miss Violet Grace McCutcheon, Mount Hope; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Ball, Mrs. R. W. Bader and Miss Amy McCutcheon, all of Hico, a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

The body will remain at the funeral home where friends may call after 5 p.m. today.(RNS)
