Archie B. Travis, age 61, died at 1:30p.m., Saturday, in Royal Oak General Hospital. His home was at 817 West Eleven Mile, Royal Oak. Funeral services will be at 10:30a.m., Tuesday, at the J. H. Spiller funeral home, 836 North Main, Royal Oak. Burial will be in Oxford cemetery. The Rev. L. Wayne Smith of the First Methodist church of Royal Oak will officiate. Mr Travis was born July 15, 1891, in Oxford. He leaves seven children, Clarence and Elmer of Garden City, Arthur of Inkster, Robert, 3727 Griffith, Berkley, Mrs. Harold Rogers of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. William Anderson of Livonia and Mrs. Shirley Babich of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Brockman of Pontiac; a brother Ray, of Ferndale; and eight grandchildren.
