Eldon Jensen, aged 89, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct 31 of natural causes.
He was born in Cornish, UT Dec 13, 1913 to Alfred Jensen and Josephine Larsen Jensen. He married Margaret Petersen, 1938; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Eldon was a great outdoorsman and a marksman with a rifle and bow and arrow, a devoted and loving husband and father. His family was the most important concern in his life. He was a contract painter for many years and later a real estate broker and builder. He was a high priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was long active in the Boy Scouts. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he supported them in their endeavors.
Survived by his wife; daughters, Sandra (Cruser Rowland), Margo; five grandchildren; two great-grandchil-dren; sisters, Edna (Eugene Petersen), Wanda Lee Taylor; many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son, Lloyd; parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
A memorial service will be Thurs. Nov 6, 11 a.m. Oakridge Chapel, 1475 N. 50 E, Centerville.
