OBITUARY :
WILLIS A. "BILL" WOLFE, 79, of Wolfsville, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro.

Born Nov. 16, 1924, in Wolfsville, he was the son of the late Victor B. and B. Gaynel Wolfe.

He formed Wolfe and Son Construction in 1992.

He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Wolfsville.

He was a member of Blue and Gray Model T Club, Hub City A's, Elk Lodge of Hagerstown, South Mountain Rod and Gun Club and Cascade American Legion.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Annie M. Howell Wolfe; one daughter, Shari W. Schildtknecht of Wolfsville; one son, William W. Wolfe of Wolfsville; one sister, Virginia W. Stains of Frederick, Md.; one brother, Victor B. Wolfe, Jr. of Wolfsville; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey McNanney, and two brothers, Gail Wolfe and Lauren W. Wolfe.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, Wolfsville. The Rev. Randall Reid will officiate. Burial will be in German Reformed Cemetery, Wolfsville.

The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ricketts Funeral Home, Myersville, Md.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 12477 Wolfsville Road, Myersville, MD 21773.
