My great grandmother was estranged from her husband at the time of her death. She was on the way to southern Illinois on Christmas Eve to visit her family when she was in a car accident and died. Her son Dick was driving. Daughter Dorothy was also in the car and remembers the sheet being pulled over her mother after the accident.
