Warner H. Sowards, 64, of St. Albans, husband of Betty Sowards, died Saturday, December 25, 1999 at home. He was a truck driver for Rush Trucking. Also surviving are his mother, Emalene Sowards of Ona; two daughters, Brenda Morrison and Cindy Morrison, both of St. Albans; two sisters, Donna Bowen of Lovely, Ky. and Sue Chapman of Ona and one brother, Lee Sowards of Barboursville. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at Allen Funeral Home; burial in Culloden Cemetery.
