Ernie McCutcheon, 58, of Gauley Bridge, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Amy and John Burdette in Cross Lanes.

Ernie was a former employee of the Cocoa Cola Plant in Charleston, a Navy veteran, and an ordained minister in the Pentecostal Church.

Additional survivors are his sons Ernie and Christopher McCutcheon both of Cross Lanes, his mother, Nettie Prather of Smithers, sisters Marie Underwood and her husband Terry of Oak Hill, Beth Johns of Smithers, Mary Bennett and her husband Russell of Charleston, his brothers Henry Gordon of NC, Kenneth McCutcheon of Smithers, and Bill McCutcheon of St. Albans. Ernie is also survived by his grandsons Joshua and Isaiah Burdette, and Justin and Jarod McCutcheon.

A celebration of Ernie's life will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 15, 2007 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home with his sister Rev. Marie Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV.
