Adella V. Hall, 85, died Friday in Ball Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Maple Valley in Henry County, attended Wilkinson High School, and moved to Muncie in 1919.


Mrs. Hall worked for the Center Township trustee for several years. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church.


Mrs. Hall was a member of the Pythian Sisters, and was the Indiana lodge's grand musician for several years. She was also active on numerous committees. She was also a member of World War I Veterans Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Retired Senior Volunteer Program, of which she was senior citizen queen in 1974.


Surviving are two daughters, Naomi T. Hall, Clewiston, Fla., and Lila Ruth Loftis, Yorktown; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


Her husband, Kyle, died in 1936 and a son, Warren Kyle Hall, died in 1964.


Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Meeks Mortuary. Burial will be in McCray Cemetery near Wilkinson. Calling at the mortuary is 2-6 p.m. today or before services Monday.
