Otis Lee Gay,69, of Glennville died last Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah after a long illness.
He was a native of Pierce County and lived in Tattnall County for the past 24 years. He was a retired carpenter and a member of El Bethel Missionary Baptist in Emanuel County.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Esther Gay of Glennville; a daughter, Mrs. Martha G. Barrow of Glennville; two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Bishop of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Idella Lofton of Savannah; four brothers, Clifford Gay of Twin City, Johnny Gay and Jimmy Gay, both of Savannah and Quinton Gay of Glennville; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Glennville with burial in the Glennville City Cemetery.
Waters Funeral Home was in charge.
