FLORA Mary Alice "Teeny", of Lexington, KY, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Feb 14, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born Nov 20 in Harnett County, NC to the late Mack and Lula Avery Stephenson. She was the youngest of thirteen children. She was a member of Hillsboro Methodist Church. Mary was an accomplished seamstress and home decorator until she lost her vision. She loved animals, flowers, and people. She never met a stranger.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Tommie, of 53 years; son, Richard, of Dousman, WI; daughter, Rhonda (Scott) Mohrbacher of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Paul and Tom, all of Denver, CO; sister, Pauline Sorrell of Dunn, NC, as well as several nieces and nephews across the country.
