Mrs. Hilda A. Freiboth, 99, currently residing at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon, January 22, 1991, at Shady Lane Home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 25, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Arno J. Wofgramm will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born December 21, 1891, in the township of Greenwood, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Fred and Bertha Kaske Peche. She grew up in the township of Greenwood and attended local schools. She and her husband moved to Manitowoc from Rib Lake, Wisconsin, in 1942. She has made her home in Manitowoc since that time. She was married to Fred C. Freiboth on September 26, 1911, at Greenwood, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death August 11, 1972. She was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Fred and Myrtle Freiboth of Rib Lake, Wisconsin, Clarence and Ruth Freiboth of Manitowoc, Art and Pearl Freiboth of Rib Lake, Wisconsin; three daughters and two husbands, Esther Dubicki of Schofield, Wisconsin, Myrtle and Milton Kubichek of Schofield, Doris and Robert Luedtke of Manitowoc; a daughter-in-law, Augusta Freiboth of Medford, Wisconsin; a son-in-law, William Chapman of Placerville, California; one brother, Paul Peche of Millington, Michigan; one sister, Anna Salzman of Medford, Wisconsin; 32 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Elmer, one daughter, Viola Chapman, three brothers and three sisters.

Memorials to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. Friends may call on Friday at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. There will be no visitation at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home.
