Fanny R. Cannon, 94, a resident of Corry Manor Nursing Home, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001
Born Aug. 13, 1907, in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late David W. McClimans St. and Bessie Gue McClimans. She formerly lived at Ravlin Hill Road and Willowbrook Apartments, Clymer.
She attended school in the Erie area, including Lawrence Park and Academy high schools.
She enjoyed crocheting and reading.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Johnson; her second husband, Robert E. Cannon, whom she married Aug. 2, 1948, and who died in 1985; a brother, David W. McClimans Jr., in 1998; and a sister, Irene Stahlman, in 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Clair Johnson of Corry and Bruce Johnson of Clermont,Fla.; a sister, Bette Searle of Brookpark, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Douglas, Andy and Chris Johnson, Sue Peters, Julie Geel, Jessi Eastman, Debbie Schurman, Kate Spiegel, Kelli Brigham, Jami Wolf and Jeri Elmquist; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Clymer. A service will be held there Thursday at 10 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Robert Morgan of New Life Assembly of God Church, Corry.
Burial will be at Holland (N.Y.) Cemetery.
