Kenneth Manchester, 78, of Westport died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was husband of the late Rose (Antunes) Manchester.

Born in Westport, son of the late George D. and Olive (Devoll) Manchester, he had lived in Westport for most of his life. He was the co-owner / operator of C & K Construction in Westport. Mr. Manchester enjoyed farming and raising animals.

Survivors include 5 daughters, a brother, 2 sisters, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was brother of the late Alfred Manchester, Arthur Manchester, George Manchester, Albert Manchester, Milton Manchester and Mildred Baldwin.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.

Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
