Edward B. Schwintosky, 76, of Wurtland, Ky., formerly of Soquel, Calif., went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 25, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Schwintosky was born July 22, 1930, in Aptos, Calif., a son of the late Edward Oscar and Elva Bonner Schwintosky.
He was a United States Air Force Korean War veteran. He was retired from Intel Corp. computer company in San Jose, Calif.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rosa Lee Schwintosky, a son, Edward Allen (Valerie) Schwintosky of Soquel, two brothers, Roger Schwintosky of Talbelt, Tenn. and Bruce Schwintosky of Watsonville, Calif., three grandchildren, Brittany Schwintosky, Nicole Schwintosky and Jamiee Hunter, and a great-grandson, Daniel Hunter.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Ky., by Pastor Wayne Stephenson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight and one hour before the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
