The former Rosemary Kelm, she was born in New Holstein March 28, 1922, the daughter of the late August and Eleanora Lettenberger Kelm. She attended New Holstein elementary school and graduated from New Holstein High school, the class of 1940.
Mrs. Luehrs was a homemaker and clerical secretary for the Salvatorian Center in New Holstein. She was married to Richard E. Luehrs, Jun 29, 1946, at Holy Rosary Catholic church in New Holstein. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, its Christian Mothers, and the New Holstein Women’s Bowling Association.
Survivors are her husband Richard; three sons, John of St. Louis, Paul of Chicago, and William of Cincinnati; a twin brother, Robert F. Kelm of New Holstein; and one sister, Mrs. Edward (June ) Webb, of Glenview, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Rosary Church, with the Rev. Ralph Hermsen officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Church Cemetery.
