Annie Ruth Morris Hamm, 98 years old, of Newberry, widow of Maxie E. Hamm, died July 15, 2003 at J.F. Hawkins Health Care. Born in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Nannie Melverda Boozer Morris. Surviving are nieces, Dorothy Jackson and Shirley Cannon, both of Newberry, Barbara Werts of North Augusta and Nell Morris of Batesburg; nephews, Terry Morris and Calvin Morris, both of Prosperity. Burial was in St. Luke's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
