Mrs. Albert B. Carruth Passes Away at Age of 61 Years--Left Here With Family in 1912

Mrs. Albert B. Carruth, well-known former resident of Beaver, died at her home at Danvers, Minn., Monday afternoon from a heart attack. She was 61 years of age. Funeral services were held Monday at Benson.

Mrs. Carruth, nee Carrie Bishop, left here with her husband and family about 1912. Before going to Danvers, they had farmed in Beaver Falls for many years, establishing a large host of acquaintances and friends in this community.

She was married to Mr. Carruth about the 1838, and to this union ten children were born, seven boys and three girls. One daughter, Florence, died here at the age of 16, and is buried in the Morton cemetery.

In addition to her husband, the following children survive her: Clarence, Willard, Delmar, Clinton, Milton, Lester, Donald, Eva Mary and Mildred, all of Danvers.

She is also survived by one brother and three sister; namely, William Bishop, Oregon; Mrs. Edna McInfyre, Minneapolis; Mrs. Ida Whittaker, St. Cloud, and Mrs. Minnie Clift, Beaver Falls.

Those from Morton attended the funeral Saturday at Benson are as follows: Mrs. L.B. Brown, Joe Carruth and daughter, Rosemary, Ed Clift and W.G. Anderson.
