Per obit in Palm Beach Post - Georgia Saunders came to Lake Worth in 1918 and passed away at home of daughter, Mrs. J. D. Lee. Surviving at the time of her passing, son Rollie J. Saunders of Lake Worth, daughters Ollie S. Glisson of Pensacola, Lola Knight of Pompano Beach, and Mrs. W. H. Frey of Delray Beach, FL.

John's father Isaac Richardson of Bulloch County, GA was father of eleven children. Four of these children came to Volusia County about 1857. They were: Abraham and Georgia who settled near the Emporia area, while John and Benjamin settled near Barberville.

John Richardson son of Isaac of Bulloch County, Georgia married Elizabeth Strickland in Georgia on December 6, 1863. The exact date of their move to Florida is not known. Their children are listed in the 1870 census were: Alfred D, America Ann, Hulda, Abraham, Georgia Ann, Nancy D., Adeline (Addie) M, and Stephen Clark. Isaac Richardson (c. 1855- 56) and Morrison Richardson (1859 -60) were born in GA are also listed as members of this household. These children later married Parrott, Powell, Buckles, Stone, Saunders, Aikins, Clifton, Mizell, and Davis families. Isaac married Lucy Ann Clifton, the daughter of Ezekiel and Sarah Edenfield Clifton, on August 31, 1876. The had three children before his death: Josephine, Sarah, and William.
