Margaretsville, August 31-

The sudden death occurred on Saturday morning of John Hall, age 67. He was born at Spa Springs but lived most of his life at Middleton where he was associated with the late Dr. S.N. Miller in the drug business. Later he came here to reside where he has been a useful and valued citizen and has rendered untiring service to the sick and needy. He was a Great War veteran and his services in hospitals overseas were highly appreciated. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife; three sons, Jacob, Aylesford; Captain Reagh Hall of the S.S. Nova II; and Laurie,at home; and two daughters, Mrs.Gordon Aldred of Margaretsville and Mrs. Arthur Kilpatrick, Roxbury, Mass. The funeral was held this afternoon from his late residence, conducted by Rev. Dr. Clatenburg of Middleton, assisted by Rev. Mr. Hooper, Baptist, of this place. Burial took place in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Middleton. Pallbearers were all Great War veterans, Robert Earley, Harvey Carey, Harry Parker, and Blanchard Stronach.
