The funeral of Mrs. Belle Royher of Portland, Ore. was held at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Wagner of Red Cloud preaching the sermon. Mrs. Royher was formerly Mrs. John Lemon of this place, moving to Portland following Mr. Lemon's death. They were pioneers of Adams County and Juniata. Mrs. Royher was a member of the Brethren church since her girlhood, a good neighbor and consistent Christian. She was laid to rest beside Mr. Lemon in the Juniata cemetery. A daughter, Mrs. Dora Bruce, accompanied the casket home. She leaves to mourn one son, Eddie of Portland, several grandchildren and one great-grandchild, besides several brothers and sisters.
