Betty J. Tredway, 69, of Lawrenceville dìed Sunday, Jan. 27, 1991 at 2:40 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 am. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville with Father Jack Frerker presiding. Burial will be in St. Francisville Catholic Cemetery in St. Francisville. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Emmons-Macey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Catholic Wake Service will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Lawrenceville Red and White Booster Club or Pat's Kids.

Mrs. Tredway was born May 31,1921, the daughter of John and Eva Belle (Lockman) Payne, in Vincennes, Ind. She married John Bernard Tredway Dec. 16, 1941, who died July 9, 1961.

Mrs. Tredway was a cook at the Candlelight Restaurant in Lawrenceville. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catho1ic Church.

Mrs. Tredway is survived by three sons, John Tredway, Seal Beach, Calif:, Joe Tredway, Lawrenceville, and Jim, Olney; four daugthers, Sue Tredway, Pam Tredway, Joyce Tredway and Beverly Johnson, all of Lawrenceville; two brothers Gene Payne, Hammond, Ind., Bob Payne Va1pariso, Ind.; five sisters, Maxine Wright, Gobles, Mich., Lynn Roberts, Dallas, Tex., Suzanne Ryan, Peggy Vogel and Sally Fleetwood, all of Lawrenceville; and ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in, death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers.
