Mr. Herman was born November 14, 1954, in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, to the Rev. Allen and Mrs. Ruth Scott Herman. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Mr. Herman had worked as a plant manager for Robroy Industries. He enjoyed cooking and barbecuing. He was lovingly called "Pappy" and "Papa Bear" by his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Herman of Ore City; daughter and son-in-law, Heather Herman and Tony Gabaldon of Ore City; sons and daughter-in-law, Scott and Ryan Herman of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, and Jacob Herman of Ore City; grandchildren, Cassi, Brandee, Toni and A.J. Gabaldon, Hayley, Tyler and Rylee Herman; sister, Lacrisha Herman of Pennsylvania; and niece, Dominique Herman of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania.
