Andrew W Bartlett was born November 24, 1842 in Sutton, Vermont, son of Jeff born Mar 30, 1813-Died Oct 10, 1895 & Mary Corey.
On August 15, 1862 at the age of 20 years he became a private in Co. G 74 Ills. Infantry serving until March 25, 1863 when he was discharged.
On Oct 28, 1866 he married Mary E Wheeler becoming a framer at Cambridge, Iowa. They were the parents of three children (1) Dudley F Bartlett of Ordway, (2) F A Bartlett of Tulsa, Oklahoma and (3) James M Bartlett who died in 1912.
In 1885 Andrew was a lumber and cola dealer at Cambridge at the age of 42.
In November 1897 he married Mrs. M. Walker.
His death occurred in May 1920 in Ordway, Colorado, he is buried in the Cambridge Cemetery.
