Leonard "Lennie" R. London, 41, of Martin Ave. in Waterville, Maine died Friday, Oct. 14, 1994 at a Portland, Maine hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Portland, the son of Jack and Madeline (McGowan) London. He was a graduate of South Portland High school.
Lenny had been a machinist for D&G Machine Co. of Westbrook and was a member of the Portland and South Portland Eagles.
Survivors include his mother Madeline C. Briggs of South Portland; his wife Anne Abbe London of Waterville; a son Jeffrey J. London of Naples; three daughters; Toni M. London of Naples; Katie R. London and Tracy S. London both of Waterville; a brother James E. Briggs Jr., two sisters Mary Lou Verrill and Shawn Marie Briggs all of South Portland.
A brother Daniel Archibald predeceased him in 1990.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the Hay & Peabody Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
