Mary Ann Kramer, 76, of North Buena Vista, formerly of Epworth, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at the Mission Regional Hospital in Mission, Texas. Friends and relatives of Mary Ann may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Reiff Funeral Home in Epworth, where a wake service will be held at 4 p.m. Services for Mary Ann Kramer will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Epworth, with the Rev. Dennis Cain officiating. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Epworth.

Mary Ann was born July 28, 1934, in Luxemburg, Iowa, daughter of John W. and Hilda B. (Scherbring) Conrad. She received her education in the Luxemburg area schools. On Sept. 10, 1953, she was united in marriage to Joseph William Kramer at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, he preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 1980. On June 13, 1987, she was united in marriage to Robert Kramer at her home in Epworth. She was a former member of St. Patrick's Parish in Epworth, and its Altar and Rosary Society.

She loved gardening, canning and fishing.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Kramer of North Buena Vista; one daughter, Mary Jo Kluesner of Dubuque; three sons, Paul Kramer of Cascade, James Kramer of Cuba City, Wis., and Jeff (Lynn) Kramer of Robins; stepchildren, Tom (Mary Ann) Kramer of Shawano, Wis., Todd Kramer of Grinnell, Teri (Lyn) Trask of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren, Travis, Tammy, Krista, Caitlin, Nicholas and Bryce Kramer and Kortney and Kara Kluesner; five stepgrandchildren, Eli, Josh, Adam, Andrea and Amber; six brothers, Lavern Conrad of Dubuque, Vincent Conrad of New Port Richey, Fla., Bill (Darlene) Conrad of Epworth, Daniel (Jackie) Conrad of Cascade, John Conrad Jr. of LaMotte, Ronald (Sandy) Conrad of East Dubuque, Ill.; and one sister, Joan (Clem) Hoefler of New Vienna.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter-in-law, Janice Kramer; and one sister and a brother-in-law, Doris and Charles Davis.

A Mary Ann Kramer memorial fund has been established.
