Age 17. Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 10, 2002. Born on March 4, 1985 in Joliet and a lifelong resident. A graduate of AO Marshall Grade School and Gompers Junior High; she attended Joliet Central High School. Brandi enjoyed writing poetry and singing. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Loving and devoted daughter of William and Vicki (nee McBride) Boyd Sr. of Joliet; beloved sister of Traci Boyd of Joliet, William L. (Heidi) Boyd Jr. of Diamond and Judith Fisk of Gardner; maternal grandparents, Norman and Shirley McBride Sr.; fond aunt of Christopher and Courtney; Erica, Tara and Autumn. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and best friends, Maria Guzman and Rachel Petty also survive.
Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Edith Boyd.
Funeral services for Brandi L. Boyd will be Monday, July 15, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 4-7 p.m. at:
