Carl Eugene Ahlquist
TESCOTT - - Carl Eugene Ahlquist, 85, Tescott, died Monday, May 27, 2002. Mr. Ahlquist was born July 9, 1916, north of Tescott. He was a farmer-stockman and Hoegemeyer Hybrid Seed dealer.
Survivors include his wife, Lola of the home; three sons, Charles of Salina, and Allen and Frank, both, of Tescott; six daughters, Charlotte Boyle of Ada, Rose Roush of Wilson, Joyce Morgan of Salina, Janice Tremble of Tescott, Alma Wilson of McCook, Neb., and Thelma Vaughn of Mooresville, N.C.; a brother, Donald of Delphos; a sister, Arlene Kissick of Beverly; 24 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tescott. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, Tescott.
Memorials may be made to the church or Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis.
Visitation will be flrom 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday at Shields Funeral Home, 405 Argyle, Minneapolis 67467, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
